Thiruvananthapuram Airport in Kerala triggered a full emergency response on Thursday morning following reports of a bomb threat on an Air India flight traveling from Mumbai.
According to PTI, the Air India flight, en route from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram, has been directed to an isolation bay, and the passengers are in the process of being evacuated.
The flight, carrying 135 passengers, landed safely at Thiruvananthapuram Airport at around 8 am and was promptly moved to an isolation area, as reported by airport officials to PTI.
By 8:44 am, all passengers had been safely evacuated from the aircraft, according to the officials.
