A 57-year-old government employee has been arrested for allegedly committing heinous acts in a village in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The accused, identified as Gajendra Singh, an Agriculture Development Officer, is facing charges of raping a 10-year-old Dalit girl and engaging in bestiality. The incident reportedly occurred on Monday around 5 pm.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Shlok Kumar, addressed the media, stating, “According to the victim’s father, Gajendra Singh, who is posted as an Agriculture Development Officer, allegedly raped his daughter and also assaulted a goat. The entire act was captured on video by a child who was present nearby.”
Singh has been booked under multiple sections, including the SC/ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Section 65 (2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
The SSP further added, “Based on the complaint, we have taken swift action and arrested the accused. He has been sent to jail. The victim’s family will be provided with financial assistance to help them through this difficult time.”
