New Delhi, April 19 — A shocking case of street violence has rocked Delhi’s Seelampur area after 17-year-old Kunal was fatally stabbed on Thursday evening, barely a few metres from his home. In a major breakthrough, police have arrested 25-year-old Zikra Khan, infamously known as ‘Lady Don’, for allegedly orchestrating the brutal attack. According to police officials, this wasn’t a random act of violence but a revenge killing stemming from a quarrel in November 2024. During that earlier spat, one of the accused was allegedly assaulted while Kunal was reportedly present at the scene. Investigators believe simmering tensions from that altercation ultimately led to Thursday’s tragic incident. On the evening of the attack, Kunal was out near his house when a group, including two teenagers and Zikra, allegedly ambushed him. CCTV footage captured the horrifying moments as Kunal was stabbed multiple times. Despite his family’s desperate attempts to save him, the injuries proved fatal. “By the time my husband reached the spot, the attackers had fled,” Kunal’s mother, Parveen Devi, recalled with grief. “We were helpless, watching him bleed while the attackers escaped.” The incident sparked angry protests late into the night in Seelampur, with locals demanding swift justice. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta assured the victim’s family that justice would be served, saying she has personally spoken to the Police Commissioner and urged swift action. The tragedy has once again drawn attention to rising street crime and gang-linked vendettas in parts of the capital.
